Primary riboflavin deficiency. Malnutrition syndrome in premature infants. Insufficient diet, chronic alcoholism, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, sprue, glutenic enteropathy, post gastrointestinal resection states. Increased loss of vitamin B2 in newborns with hyperbilirubinemia, treated with ultraviolet light, increased excretion in urine in case of parenteral nutrition and chronic hemodialysis. Relative vitamin B2 deficiency in congenital enzymatic defects.

Dosage and administration:

It is administered parenterally - intramuscularly or intravenously, at a daily dose of 5-30 mg, and the therapeutic course is determined depending on the severity of the disease. After coping with clinical symptoms, the treatment may continue by oral administration.

Hypersensitivity to the product.

Drug interactions:

Vitamin B2 may be used in combination with other vitamins and minerals. Chlorpromazine increases its excretion in the urine. Probenecid inhibits tubular secretion and reabsorption of vitamin B2, thus reducing its excretion in the urine.

Adverse reactions:

In some cases, pain at the site of drug application may be observed. In high doses, it may lead to hypergranulation (changes in oral mucosa) and yellow colouring of the urine.

10 or 100 ampoules of 2 ml (5 mg/ml) solution for injections.
