One ampoule of 2 ml contains: 10 mg (5 mg/ml) thiamine hydrochloride (vit. B1), riboflavine sodium phosphate equivalent to 2 mg (1 mg/ml) riboflavin (vit. B2), 10 mg (5 mg/ml) pyridoxine hydrochloride (vit. B6), 100 mg (50 mg/ml) nicotinamide (vit. PP).

One tablet contains: 5 mg thiamine nitrate (vit. B1), 1 mg riboflavin (vit. B2), 4 mg pyridoxine hydrochloride (vit. B6), 50 mg nicotinamide (vit. PP).

The product is used in group B vitamin deficiency in the following diseases: neuritis; polyneuritis of alcoholic, toxic, and post infectious origin; diabetic polyneuropathy; neuralgia; parasthesia; Wernicke’s encephalopathy; neurodermitis; chronic alcoholism; intoxications.

Dosage and administration:

The solution for injection is applied parenterally - intramuscularly or, more rarely, intravenously at a dose of 1-2 ml every day or every other day, the course of treatment ranging from 5 to 10 days. The filmtablets are used orally in: adults at a dose of 2-6 tablets daily; in children at a dose of 1-2 tablets daily.

Vitamin Bcomplex should not be used in hypersensitivity to the product, glaucoma, gout, hypotension and ulcer disease.

Drug interactions:

It is possible the product to reduce the hyportensive effect of some adrenolytics and sympatholytics, as well as to decrease the hypnotic effect of barbiturates and glutethimide, due to presence of vitamin B1 in its composition. Chlorpromazine increases urine excretion of the vit. B2. Probenecid inhibits tubular excretion and reabsorption of the vit. B2, thus reducing its excretion in the urine. Vit. B6 reduces the antiparkinsonian effect of L-Dopa. In concomitant administration with oral contraceptive agents, Rimicid, penicillamine, cycloserine, and thiosemicarbazones, the blood concentration of vit. B6 decreases.

Adverse reactions:

The product is very well tolerated, however, in rare cases, itching, urticaria, and Quincke’s edema may be observed in predisposed patients.

Pharmacological mechanisms

Vitamins belonging to group B possess a biology activity in low concentrations and exert a regulating effect on the cell function. They participate in number of enzyme systems and in such a manner in the regulation of carbohydrate, protein and lipid metabolism. After the conforming to pyrophosphate Vitamin B1 participates in the carbohydrate, and protein metabolism, as well as in synthesis of nucleic acids as a co-enzyme. It influences the neural impulse conduction in the synapse. Vitamin B2 improves the carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, and is related to aminoacid metabolism. It participates in iron and porphyrin exchange, in hemoglobin synthesis and in the tissue respiration. Vitamin B6 is a part of following enzymes: decarboxylase and transaminase. It participates in histamine, free fatty acid, and aminoacid metabolism. The vitamin plays a role in the normal functioning of the central and peripheral nervous system, skin, and gastrointestinal tract. Nicotinic acid and its amide are included in co-dehydrases, participating in the hydrogen transport and in oxygenation-restoration processes, necessary for the tissue respiration.
