 Mrs. Svoboda Dobreva, M.Sc. is a cosmetic chemist and a partner in BODI-D Cosmetics. She has graduated the Higher Institute of Food Industry, Plovdiv, Bulgaria, major Plant and Essential Oils, Perfumery and Cosmetics.
Mrs. Dobreva has worked at the Research Institute of Perfumery and Cosmetics, Plovdiv, Bulgaria as a Senior Research Associate in Skin Care Department. For 3 years she has worked as a Senior Officer at the Skin Care Division at Solvex Cosmetic Products. Later she was invited by Alen Mak Perfumery and Cosmetics Company, Plovdiv, Bulgaria to take the position of Head of R & D department, where she worked for 2 years. - Mrs. Dobreva has developed over 150 skin care products, all of them very successful on the market.
- Two of her products have been awarded the Plovdiv International Fair gold medals
- and one product – the Moscow International Fair brass medal.
She is the author of - 11 protected inventions
- and has 15 publications on the use of bio-active substances in cosmetics.
Since 1999 till present she is Secretary General of the Bulgarian National Association of Essential Oils, Perfumery and Cosmetics and Editor-in-Chief of the National Bulletin on Essential Oils, Perfumery and Cosmetics.
In 2003 Mrs. Dobreva was granted the award "2000 OUTSTANDING SCIENTISTS OF THE 21st CENTURY" of the International Biographic Centre, Cambridge, England for her contribution to the chemistry science. |
